Bought my first Janelle bag (Ellie) on a sale and what was supposed to be used as an occasional bag has turned into an everyday handbag. I purchased a beautiful lilac-colored Ellie bag. I Love it. Craftsmanship is top notch and the bag is made in Maine. I highly recommend visiting their shop or ordering online.

Just received my second Janell handbag.I have Jenna and just received Ellie in the new color gray fox. The quality and workmanship are excellent Ilove the color and wouldn’t buy any other bag after owning Janell handbags. My package came 4 days after I ordered it carefully wrapped and labeled, doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you Janell for the best handbags I ever owned.

My first experience with Janell was an ad in Yankee Magazine so I went to the site to look at the purses. I ordered an Ellie, but had to make a phone call to let the company know that I had entered an order for 3 of the same exact purse, instead of 1, expecting to leave a message. I was surprised that it was actually answered on the third ring! I normally don’t purchase a purse unless I think it will last at least 5 years. I just received my Ellie today (my very first order from Janell) and when I removed it from the priority mailing carton, my first thought was “is this really leather?” It’s so soft it feels like cloth. It was love at first sight. I definitely recommend Janell as I believe these purses will last a lifetime. Thanks so much for the great service (and quality)!!! Janice from Michigan

I got on this website to post a review, noticed the Ellie bag was on sale, and purchased one in Persian Red. I know I will love it as much as I do the Purple Royalty Jenna and the Oceanside Teal Emma Crossbody I bought earlier this year. I like and need well-made purses, and these really measure up. And the colors are so rich and beautiful. I’m already trying to decide which bag will be the next in my collection!

My first bag was a salmon color summer clearance but I decided it was more of a pumpkin spice and used it all this fall. It was very well made. It should last for years. I ordered the royal purple in the largest style and my husband is going to give me that for Christmas. I’m happy and he is thrilled about not needing to shop! I just now ordered the Ellie style bag in the Persian red. I’ve had my eye on it for ages and there is a sale so it’s finally going to be mine. My birthday is two days after Christmas so this will be my present and hubby won’t need to shop. Get the bag. You won’t regret it!
